These conditions set out the policy regarding the processing of customers’ personal data, collected:

  • On the occasion of the consultation of the website http://www.leschaletsdufornet.com/
  • As part of booking stays through the website;
  • On the occasion of the stay at chalets du Fornet.

This charter appears on the website and is displayed in each of the Chalets du Fornet. Any customer can read about it.

This policy is part of Act 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to COMPUTERS, files and freedoms, amended by Law 2018-493 of 20 June 2018 and the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 protection of individuals with respect to the processing of personal data and the free movement of personal data (RGPD).

Data collected

Personal data collected, or likely to be collected, by the person in charge of the processing during the events recalled in the preamble are:

  • Name, first name of customers
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Postal address
  • Nationality
  • Dates of stay at Chalets du Fornet
  • Similar information about people accompanying guests during their stay, including family or work
  • Bank details
  • Customer preferences and/or habits communicated by them (e.g., eating habits or allergen habits)
  • Any data that the customer could spontaneously decide to bring to the knowledge of the person in charge of the processing in connection with his booking or stay at the Chalets du Fornet

Purpose of collection

The main purpose of the personal data collected from clients is to enable the para-hotel services offered by the person in charge of the treatment as well as to manage the customer relationship.

The purpose may also be to meet applicable regulatory obligations, for example in order to complete a residence form.

The data can be used to subscribe to a newsletter, if the customer has consented to receive such information.

Any transmission of the data to the processing manager’s partners will be pre-approved by the client on the specific form concerned.

Data retention

Personal data is kept for the duration required to perform hotel and other services requested by the customer.

Beyond that, the data is kept or archived for the legal, or recommended, duration specific to the data in question, for example:

  • Specific provisions specific to accounting or tax documents (bills…)
  • Data retention 3 years from the last solicitation of a prospect’s contact information;
  • Preservation of the residence cards for 12 months.

Cookies

Cookies can be deposited and read when viewing the website.

The customer’s consent may be sought when browsing the site, for example about cookies related to targeted advertising operations, certain audience measurement cookies or social media related. The customer is invited to read the relevant information on the site.

Data sharing

Personal data can be shared with third-party companies, in the following cases:

  • When the customer uses payment services, for the benefit of the third-party banking and financial companies that are the processing manager’s partners;
  • If required by law, the person in charge of the processing can transmit data to respond to the complaints made and comply with administrative and judicial procedures, the residence card having to be forwarded to the police or gendarmerie services at their request;
  • If the processing manager is involved in a merger, acquisition, disposal of assets, it may be required to divest or share all or part of its assets, including personal data.

Outsourcing

The data can be passed on to the following technical providers, acting as subcontractors:
